RADIANT Journal Volume 6 Number 1 (2025) presents a collection of interdisciplinary research articles that highlight the integration of digital technology, information systems, and biomedical engineering to improve healthcare services and public health outcomes. The overarching theme of this issue is “Technological Innovation and Information Systems for Healthcare Improvement.”
The articles in this volume explore diverse yet interconnected topics, including the implementation of machine learning in Android-based applications for classifying traffic accident injuries; evaluation of hospital nutrition information systems using the CIPP model; analysis of lifestyle factors such as breakfast and tea consumption in relation to anemia among adolescent girls; and the design and development of web-based systems for managing electromedical device calibration using the Laravel framework. In addition, this issue features innovative biomedical device designs, such as an infusion channel monitoring device equipped with data logging and Telegram notifications, as well as an Arduino Uno–based oxytocin massage vest to support breastfeeding mothers.
Collectively, these studies demonstrate how emerging technologies, system evaluation models, and engineering solutions can be applied to address real-world healthcare challenges. This volume involves 16 authors from various well-established universities, reflecting strong collaboration across institutions and disciplines, and contributing valuable insights to the advancement of health technology, medical informatics, and community health research.
