Scandals trigger public reactions, political trials, and legal investigations. This study examines the intertextuality of celebrity scandals as depicted in the South Korean drama Taxi Driver season 2 and the documentary Burning Sun. Using Riffaterre's Intertextuality theory (1990), the research explores the relationship between these two media texts, focusing on how fictional and factual narratives adapt and reinterpret real-life events. The qualitative descriptive method is employed to analyze plot and setting elements, revealing both obligatory and aleatory intertextual connections. The findings highlight how Taxi Driver dramatizes the Burning Sun scandal with creative liberties, such as fictional names and exaggerated plots, while the documentary adheres to factual reporting. The study underscores the role of intertextuality in bridging fiction and reality, offering insights into how media shapes public perception of scandals involving power, exploitation, and justice.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/325 Literature Study: Implementation of Microlearning in the Digital Era 2025-06-19T01:48:46+07:00 Roni Kurniawan ronnykurni1297@gmail.com Sri Purnaningsih sripurnaningsih78@gmail.com
This study aims to provide insight and an overview of the application of microlearning in the digital era. These factors are important as they influence each other and affect the appeal and success of applications in the digital marketplace. Applications that are too large in size may hinder the download process, while an unbalanced number of features can reduce user convenience. This research employs web scraping techniques to collect data from the Google Play Store, which are then analyzed using Spearman and Pearson correlation tests. The results indicate that for paid applications, only size and the number of features have a significant correlation. Meanwhile, for free applications, size is significantly correlated with the number of downloads, ratings, and number of features. Application size and rating show a moderately strong relationship, with Spearman and Pearson coefficients of -0.302 and -0.277, respectively. These findings highlight the importance of balancing size, features, and user perception in formulating application development strategies. This study contributes to developers and researchers by providing insights into the dynamics of application attributes that influence user acceptance and supports more informed decision-making in digital application development.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/336 Performance Analysis of Intel Core i7-10610U and Intel Core i7-1265U CPUs Using Benchmarking Method 2025-06-23T07:06:29+07:00 Mursid Dwi Hastomo mursiddwihastomo@gmail.com Eko Presdianto 2411600808@student.budiluhur.ac.id Jan Everhard Riwurohi an.everhard@budiluhur.ac.id
Since its introduction, technology that utilizes semiconductor chips to perform data processing and computing or commonly known as microprocessors has experienced various advances and improvements in every aspect. Various innovations have been produced by microprocessor manufacturing companies, namely Intel, to adjust the Central Processing Unit (CPU) to its function. Intel periodically recreates microprocessors that have previously been on the market. The purpose of this study is to determine how significant the difference in performance is between one generation and the next. The launch of CPU products with the same type, but from different generations, shows that each CPU launched at different times always has an increase in performance compared to its predecessor. So, what causes this increase in performance? This question will be answered through testing between the Intel Core i7-10610U and Intel Core i7-1265U Passmark software version. 11. 1 and CPU-Z version. 15. 0. The use of several test tools aims to ensure that the benchmarking results are not biased from only one source and provide a comprehensive picture of the performance of each processor. The benchmarking method is the main measuring tool, while performance comparison is the purpose of the analysis. The tests performed include integer math, compression, floating point math, extended instructions/Streaming SIMD Extensions (SSE), encryption, sorting, Frequency, Single-Thread and Multi-Thread. The results of this test show that the Intel Core i7-1265U has superior performance to the Intel Core i7-10610U. This is because the number of cores, threads, and bandwidth owned by the Intel Core i7-1265U is larger and more, namely 12 threads and 54.1 GB/s for bandwidth, while the Intel Core i7-10610U has 8 threads and 45.8 GB/s bandwidth.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/354 The Influence of Artificial Intelligence (Cici AI Application), Learning Independence, and Learning Environment on Office Technology Learning Outcomes 2025-08-01T15:05:51+07:00 Jodie Firjatullah jodiefirjatullah_1709621049@mhs.unj.ac.id Darma Rika Swaramarinda darmarika_s@unj.ac.id Susan Febriantina susanfebriantina@unj.ac.id
This study examines the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization through the Cici AI application, student learning autonomy, and the learning environment on academic performance in the Office Technology subject. Learning discipline entails following guidelines, maintaining regular study schedules, and being able to turn in assignments on time. Furthermore, it is intimately linked to students' dedication to the learning process, personal motivation, and time management. Investigating the degree to which the peer and family environments affect students' learning discipline at SMK Negeri 12 Jakarta is the aim of this study. 103 students made up the sample size for this quantitative study, which was then re-proportioned. Proportional random sampling, a probability sampling approach, was used to choose the respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the study's data. With a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, the results demonstrated that peers and the home environment both significantly affect learning discipline at the same time. Furthermore, the two factors account for 58.5% of the construction of student learning discipline, according to the study of the coefficient of determination (R²). As a result, it's critical to establish an environment that promotes learning in both the home and the classroom. This includes creating a cozy study space, reducing outside distractions, and promoting candid dialogue between educators, parents, and students.

2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/362 The Influence of Digital Literacy, Motivation, and Self-Efficacy on the Work Readiness of Students 2025-08-01T16:00:13+07:00 Nur Allizah Rio Tiyanti nurallizahriotiyanti@gmail.com Marsofiyati Marsofiyati marsofiyati@unj.ac.id Christian Wiradendi Wolor christianwiradendi@unj.ac.id
Work readiness is the most important skill that students need to have to face the world of work. This study was directed to analyze the influence of organizational climate, leadership style, and level of trust on knowledge sharing behavior among teachers of State Vocational Schools in Bambu Apus Village, East Jakarta. The method applied was in the form of a survey by distributing questionnaires to 126 teachers from three State Vocational Schools in the area. The collected data was then processed using a quantitative descriptive approach with the help of Smart PLS software to see the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the hypothesis test show that organizational climate, leadership, and trust play a significant role in influencing knowledge sharing behavior. However, this study also found a sense of distrust between teachers regarding information confidentiality and a lack of optimal innovation in learning leadership. Therefore, it is suggested that communication, cooperation, and trust in the school environment can be improved to support the creation of a more effective knowledge-sharing culture.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/357 The Influence of Self-Efficacy and Peer Conformity on Cheating Behavior 2025-07-29T09:41:13+07:00 Ananda Zahrani Putri anandazahranii@gmail.com Henry Eryanto henry@feunj.ac.id Rizki Firdausi Rachmadania rachmadania@unj.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy and peer conformity on cheating behavior in Class X vocational high schools in Jakarta. This research applies a quantitative approach through survey methods. The population used consisted of 180 students, with a sample of 120 students obtained through the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection with a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis method IBM SPSS Statistics Version 26 was used in this study. The study findings indicate that the self-efficacy variable and the cheating behavior variable have a partial relationship, as evidenced by the t-value -12.080 > t-table value -1.658. The peer conformity variable shows a partial relationship with the cheating behavior variable, as evidenced by the t-value 11.292 > the t-table value 1.658. The simultaneous test results indicate that the self-efficacy variable and peer conformity have a simultaneous relationship with the cheating behavior variable, F-value 400.124 > F-table value 3.07. Implications of this study: (1) Cheating behavior variable have the highest percentage indicator, time 30%. This indicates that students cheat during certain periods, such as the last minutes before the exam paper is collected, when the teacher is busy, there is no exam supervisor, or when the teacher is not paying attention to them. (2) Self-efficacy variable has the highest percentage indicator in generality at 33.6%. This indicates that low self-efficacy among students affects their lack of focus in class due to a heavy homework load, difficulty in recovering from failure, and reluctance to try again. (3) The peer conformity variable was found to have the highest percentage indicator, namely individual agreement within the group, at 33.4%. That students are united in telling the teacher they forgot to do the homework, united in not doing the teacher's homework, or united in collaborating during the exam.
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies https://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/345 The Influence of PKL and Hard Skills on Work Readiness of SMK Students 2025-07-29T08:51:30+07:00 Nadia Azzahra nadiaazzahra_1709621053@mhs.unj.ac.id Dewi Nurmalasari dewi_nurmalasari@unj.ac.id Ervina Maulida ervinamaulida@unj.ac.id
Vocational High Schools are designed to produce graduates who are ready to enter the workfoce. However, the persistent gap between graduates competencies and industry demands leads to a high unemployment rate, particulary among SMK graduates. This discrepancy suggest that theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient without practical experience and technical competencies. Prior studies have explored various factors influencing work readiness, but limited research has focused specifically on the combined influence of Field Work Practices (PKL) and hard skills in the field of Office Management. This study aims to examine the effect of Field Work Practices and hard skills on the work readiness of 12th-grade students majoring in Office Management at public vocational schools in East Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. A total of 123 students from for public vocational schools were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation (SEM) method with SmartPLS. The results indicate that both Field Work Practices and hard skills have a positive and significant effect on students work readiness. Field Work Practices contribute to work readiness by exposing students to real workplace situations while hard skills ensure the mastery of relevant technical competencies. The findings highlight that work readiness is not solely determined by academic knowledge, but also by the practical experience and skills gained through structured industry exposure and technical training. Thus, schools are encouraged to enhance PKL implementation and hard skill development programs to improve student readiness in facing the challenges of the professional world.

Keywords: work readiness, field work practice, hard skill, vocational education, office management
2025-08-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies
