This study explores the development and implementation of LITERATA, an inclusive and disabilities-friendly curriculum designed to improve access to quality education for students with disabilities in Binjai, North Sumatra. Using a qualitative approach, the research draws on secondary data from academic publications, government policies, and case studies of inclusive programs. A comparative analysis method was applied to evaluate gaps between national regulations and actual school practices, while thematic coding helped uncover recurring challenges. The results show that many students still face significant barriers, ranging from a lack of trained teachers to insufficient learning resources. LITERATA responds by offering adaptive teaching methods, accessible materials like braille and digital platforms, and the integration of life and soft skills. The curriculum is supported by a structured three-year implementation plan involving stakeholders from local governments, educators, and community groups. Overall, the study finds that LITERATA offers a promising and scalable model for inclusive education that prioritizes equity, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/365Thread of Influence: Advertisements as Intrusive Narrative on X2025-09-08T08:43:34+07:00Fina Ainut Tuqo226111051@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idChoirum Miftah Rihhadatul 'Aisy226111043@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idCitra Nabila226111023@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idAfwi Madinatul Ilmi226111106@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idWildi Adilawildi.adila@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
This study aims to explore several types of digital storytelling containing embedded advertising, namely riding the waves, sharing experience, and problem-solution. The data were collected from four X account namely @linskinjournal, @martabakismissu, @kforkinsley, and @glowinbeautyy which are known to frequently incorporating digital storytelling. This study also aims to analyze the level of intrusiveness in digital storytelling based on Nur Aini et al. (2023), which is classified into three types: natural, less natural, and unnatural. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The findings show that sharing experience is the type of digital storytelling most often used by accounts to embed advertising as personal storytelling create authenticity. Problem-solution is the second most frequently used type, while riding the wave is the type of digital storytelling that is rarely used to embed advertising. In addition, based on the level of intrusiveness by Nur Aini et al. (2023), embedded advertising on the digital storytelling is most often natural as the accounts tend to promote their product in a way that is closely related to the story being presented. At the same time, less natural embedded advertising also appears in some posts, where the promotional content is slightly disconnected from the main story.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/383 Cultural and Digital Integration: Revitalization Strategy For Sumbawa Horse Racing As A Sustainable Tourism Destination at Angin Laut Biru Arena2025-12-12T12:42:57+07:00Firno Hadifirnohadi01@gmail.comAbdurrahman Mansyura.rahmansyur@gmail.com
This study examines a critical intervention in revitalizing intangible cultural heritage through digital symbiosis, focusing on the Sumbawa traditional horse race (Bare Spee) at Angin Laut Biru Arena. As a living embodiment of indigenous values including honor (siri'), communal solidarity (menyama braya), and ethno-ecological wisdom, this tradition faces erosion due to generational disconnect, infrastructural neglect, and rigid management practices. Addressing the lack of integrated digital and cultural frameworks for rural heritage, the study employs an immersive qualitative case study approach. Data were triangulated through participatory observation across two event cycles, in-depth interviews with 22 key stakeholders consisting of ritual elders, kebalan jockeys, samara horse masters, local entrepreneurs, and cultural tourists, as well as digital ethnography. The findings identify a tripartite authenticity framework comprising ritual sanctity, socio-familial reciprocity, and embodied equine knowledge. Based on this analysis, the study proposes a Symbiotic Digital Mediation Model implemented through four strategies, namely community-curated digital storytelling by local youth, context-aware augmented reality using QR-based cultural portals with native-language narratives, an integrated digital ecosystem encompassing a heritage portal, blockchain-based ticketing, and a local product e-marketplace, and the use of appropriate lightweight digital tools for event management and documentation. Crucially, the study demonstrates that digital mediation must adhere to cultural subsidiarity so that technology amplifies rather than replaces indigenous epistemologies. The model supports regenerative cultural governance by enabling community-led digital stewardship and offers broader implications for safeguarding living heritage in the digital era.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/371For Victory: Skill Naming in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings2025-11-28T07:51:31+07:00Fauzan Al Hafidz226111045@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idRifky Firmanan Tyas226111059@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idAhmad Khomaini Dimyati Timur226111054@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idMuhammad Hafidh Multazil 'Ilmi226111040@mhs.uinsaid.ac.id
This study focuses on how the skill naming in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Honor of Kings. The skill naming in the two skill-dependent video games assists in shaping players' experience by the relation of skill name and its naming ideas. Therefore, these video games could create such an immersion as they have mythopoesis or their world. The qualitative method was employed in this study. Textual, visual, and functional representations of skills were analyzed. The data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using four analytical phases, namely domain, taxonomy, componential, and cultural theme analysis. From this study, four types of skill names are found in each game: real and indexical, real and non-indexical, associative and indexical, and associative and non-indexical. Thus, the skill naming formulation in both games is varied. The findings imply that this study could be employed as a reference for further studies as it wields relevant theories to signify skill naming in other literary works. In practical use, this study could be employed by game developers to compose skill names whether the skills would be named based on their visual or not, and the owner’s story or associative sense.

2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/375Volunteer Selection Model in a Community-Based Qur’anic Learning Center: A Case Study of Abata Movement Indonesia2025-11-28T07:47:18+07:00Warohma Iftitiyaniwarohmaiftitiyani02@gmail.comMuhammad Munadirustamibrahim@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
The Qur’anic Learning Center (TPQ) plays an important role in community-based character education, but limitations in human resources and funding make the role of volunteers crucial. The mismatch between institutional needs and volunteer capacity highlights the importance of clear criteria for determining volunteers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study at TPQ Abata Movement Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that Abata Movement implements volunteer recruitment systematically with three main criteria: competence, spirituality, and commitment. These three criteria play an important role in maintaining the quality, sustainability, and effectiveness of community-based Qur’anic learning programs. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing volunteer selection and management models in community-based Qur’anic learning institutions.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/378Comparative Analysis of FIFO and LRU Memory Management Algorithms Using CPU-OS Simulator v7.5.502026-01-26T11:09:47+07:00Mursid Dwi Hastomomursiddwihastomo@gmail.comSetyawan Widyartosetyawan.widyarto@budiluhur.ac.id
Efficient memory management is a critical aspect of operating system performance, as poor management can lead to high page fault rates, increased execution time, and reduced CPU utilization. This study examines the performance comparison of two widely used memory management strategies, First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and Least Recently Used (LRU), using simulations conducted through the CPU-OS Simulator v7.5.50. The objective is to observe differences in page fault rate, execution time, and CPU efficiency across various scenarios. Three experiments were conducted: first, the impact of cache/pipeline configuration; second, the influence of process scheduling on memory management; and third, the effect of memory size and page access patterns. The results show that LRU tends to provide a lower page fault rate under heavy workloads, while FIFO demonstrates advantages when memory is limited and overhead is minimal. This study contributes to understanding how page replacement algorithms affect system performance in an operating system simulation environment.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/376Inclusive Learning Media Innovation in Islamic Religious Education for Students with Special Needs2025-11-28T07:48:18+07:00Warohma Iftitiyaniwarohmaiftitiyani02@gmail.comRustam Ibrahimrustamibrahim@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
Innovation in inclusive learning materials in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in achieving access and equality for students with special needs (ABK). Through a literature review and content analysis, this qualitative study identified three main forms of innovation. First, multisensory media such as interactive videos, prayer cards, the Talkback System, and kinesthetic activities help students understand material according to their sensory characteristics. Second, value- and emotion-based media, such as Islamic films and exemplary stories, encourage empathy, motivation, and deepened religious meaning. Third, adaptive digital media based on AI, VR, and speech-to-text and text-to-speech features enable personalized learning for each individual. However, the implementation of these innovations remains hampered by limited resources, teacher competency, and a lack of collaboration among stakeholders. These findings underscore the importance of developing an inclusive PAI media paradigm and enhancing teacher capacity through adaptive technology. Further research is needed to directly test the effectiveness of each media in inclusive classrooms, as well as to develop technology-based PAI learning models that are scalable and easily implemented across various school contexts.
2026-02-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studieshttps://radiant.politeknikassalaam.ac.id/index.php/radiant/article/view/380Elderly Participation in Religious Activities: An Analysis of Domestic Barriers and Social Support2025-12-11T13:40:42+07:00Adika Hary Hermawanadika234051018@mhs.uinsaid.ac.idAndi Arif Rifa`iandiarifrifai@staff.uinsaid.ac.id
This Study aims to identify domestic barriers that affect the participation of elderly people in regular recitation at the Nurul Qolbi Islamic Council and formulate strategies to overcome them. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of elderly congregants, majelis taklim administrators, and family members. The findings of this study indicate that elderly participation is influenced by various domestic barriers such as the dual roles of the elderly, health factors, dependence on companions, weather factors, and environmental safety. This is supported by adaptive strategies for individual elderly people, family support, majelis taklim administrators, and community-based strategies. This study shows that these domestic barriers shape patterns of elderly attendance that are not always consistent, supported by strategies that can increase the consistency of the elderly in attending regular religious lectures.
2026-03-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 RADIANT: Journal of Applied, Social, and Education Studies
